The Woodstove Festival is an annual winter event taking place in the village of Cumberland on Vancouver Island on November 1-3rd 2019.  It is presented by the Cumberland Culture & Arts Society (CCAS).  It will feature live music, dance, poetry, workshops, children’s programming, visual art, and themed dances at various venues throughout historic downtown Cumberland.

The vision of the Woodstove Festival is to create a safe and fun gathering space for artists and community to share creative energy and communicate during a time of seasonal transition.  The festival will take place in downtown Cumberland and provide an opportunity to experience various art forms within a 3 block radius.  The Masonic Hall will feature family friendly programming during the day and all-ages dance parties in the evening.  At the Waverley Hotel and Cumberland Hotel high-energy live music acts will keep you grooving all night long.   Other venues feature singer/songwriters and acoustic acts, in-the-round performances, dance, theater and workshops.

Cumberland is a magical village surrounded by woods and mountains in the heart of the Comox Valley on the coastal rainforest paradise of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.  There are many great businesses in town where you can enjoy delicious craft beer, baked goods, coffee, and food.

We hope you will come get cozy with us and enjoy the magic of The Woodstove Festival!
